Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have reportedly reunited.

The two singers were together for almost a year during 2006, before Mayer finally ended the romance in 2007. He has since dated Jennifer Aniston, while Simpson recently ended her relationship with Tony Romo.

Speaking to In Touch magazine, a source said: “They’ve always had an amazing connection.”

However, the insider added: “Jessica is kidding herself that her and John stand a chance.”

The pair denied meeting in a Los Angeles restaurant last month.
